Miren holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and she has been assistant of artists such as Christian Patterson, Cristina Iglesias, Daniel Canogar and Roberto Coromina. She currently lives between Madrid and Lekeitio developing her personal works as photographer and cultural dynamizer.

Studying the Master of Photography in Blank Paper School in 2010, marked a turning point. Here she began to develop Bidean, a river project in which she continues working. She has self-published three photobooks, she has exhibited the project in national and international spaces, and in the Unseen Amsterdam Festival 2016 she won the “ING Unseen Talent Award Public Prize”. This recognition as one of the five young talents of European photography has introduced her work in the international photographic circuit.

Passionate about the photobook, she organizes Fiebre Photobook Festival, is member of the La Troupe collective and she doesn't miss the opportunity to hold workshops and BookJockeys with the aim of bringing the photobook to all audiences.

Licenciada en Bellas Artes en la UPV-EHU, ha sido asistente de artistas como Christian Patterson, Cristina Iglesias, Daniel Canogar o Roberto Coromina. Actualmente vive entre Madrid y Lekeitio desarrollando sus trabajos personales como fotógrafa y dinamizadora cultural.

Estudiar el Máster de fotografía en Blank Paper Escuela en 2010, le marcó un antes y un después. Aquí empezó a gestar su proyecto río Bidean, en el que sigue trabajando. Ha autopublicado tres fotolibros, ha expuesto el proyecto en diversos espacios nacionales e internaciones y en el festival Unseen Amsterdam 2016 ganó el “ING Unseen Talent Award Public Prize”. El reconocimiento como uno de los cinco mejores jóvenes talentos de la fotografía europea ha introducido su obra en el circuito fotográfico internacional.

Apasionada por el fotolibro, organiza el Festival Fiebre Photobook, forma parte del colectivo La Troupe y no pierde la oportunidad de realizar talleres y BookJockeys con el objetivo de acercar el fotolibro a todos los públicos.

UPV-EHUn Arte Ederretan lizentziatua, Christian Patterson, Cristina Iglesias, Daniel Canogar edo Roberto Corominaren laguntzailea izan da. Egun, Lekeitio eta Madril artean bizi da, argazkilari bezala bere lan pertsonalak eginez eta kultur dinamizatzaile lanetan.

Blank Paper Argazki Eskolako Masterra ikastea, puntu erabakiorra izan zen berarentzat eta 2010. urtean bertan hasi zen Bidean proiektua garatzen. Hiru argazki-liburu autopublikatu ditu, erakustoki nazional zein internazionaletan erakutsi du proiektua eta 2016an “ING Unseen Talent Award Public Prize” saria irabazi zuen. Europako argazki talento gaztearen aipamen honi esker, bere lana nazioarteko zirkuitu fotografikoan sartu da.

Argazki liburuen maitalea, Fiebre PhotoBook Jaialdia antolatzen du, La Troupe kolektiboaren kidea da eta ez du galtzen aukerarik tailer eta BookJockeyak egiteko, argazki-liburua publiko guztientzat hedatzeko helburuarekin.
